Weekly Pop-Up Protests
We continue to hold three Pop-Up protests a week with over 200 to date, Hilo, Kea’au and Volcano. These are a great way to alleviate any feelings of helplessness you may have! We have fun roadside protests where anywhere from four to a dozen of wonderful people show up and at our busiest location we can message to 3500 motorists during a 90-minute Pop-Up. In our political-viewpoint agnostic venue, we message to allies and opposition alike. We often have enough participants to where we all get to take break from sign holding and we get to walk around meeting and getting to know one another.
This week
Saturday Anti-War Super Pop-Up 1:00-2:30 pm in Hilo on Kanoelehua Ave at Makaala near Ross. Until after the election we focus on GOTV but feel free to protest your issue.
Wednesday Pop-Up 3:30-5:00 pm near Kea’au on Hwy 11 & Ikaika mauka side
Thursday Volcano Pop-Up 3:00-4:30 pm near Mamalahoa Hwy & Volcano Rd
